Concept of the Brand New Ads

Now that people have more leisure time at home, we decided that it would be a good idea to go back to our roots: to add the joy of games to the everyday lives of many and to be chosen as their partner in the search for games they enjoy. The idea of creating new commercial messages came to us quite naturally.

With images of her playing or choosing games in the ads, Tsubasa Honda sends a message that reflects the ultimate hope of ours; that even people who don’t usually play games will be tempted to try one out.

Quick Interview with Tsubasa Honda in the Studios

Q. I imagine youre quite busy, but do you have time to play games?

Yes, I play games almost every day! Sometimes things get very busy, but I try to carve private time out of my busy schedule, even if it gets late, for a change of headspace. My schedule tends to be helter-skelter during the year-end / New Year holidays, but I’ll somehow find time to play games.

 

Q. What brought you to start live-streaming your gameplay?

It was when smartphone games were gaining immense popularity, which in turn reduced the attention on console games (consumer games). I grew up playing console games, and so I decided to start live-streaming to remind people of their appeal.

 

Q. Have you made friends within games?

Yes. I got to know someone on Mon-han (Monster Hunter) and I’ve played online with people that I’ve never met in person.

 

Q. What games would you like to play or live-stream going forward?

I’m hoping to play titles that force me to challenge myself to communicate more with the viewers of my channel.
